You may have noticed that we disappeared, along with most of the cocktail world, last week—fallen into the boozy rabbit hole that is Tales of the Cocktail. Yours truly was blogging the event on the Tales Blog and on Twitter, though with all of the seminars, parties, events, restaurants and bars, there’s no way to successfully recount everything that happened in New Orleans.
Which, probably, is a good thing.
(Oh, and if you’re interested in rum, check out this great article on saveur.com by Jeff “Beachbum” Berry, a perennial favorite in our house.)

Hey, did you guys get to meet Demitri Pallis while you were at Tales of the Cocktail? If not, you really have to try his Bloody Mary Seasonings (http://www.demitris.com). Seriouly good stuff and I would NEVER consider making Marys from scratch again.
