Thursday Drink Night One-Year Anniversary!

September 1st, 2009  |  Published in events

Luau Room MenuIt’s been a year since the Mixoloseum hosted the very first Thursday Drink Night (TDN), and we are celebrating with a tiki-themed chat. Bring your rum, orgeat, homemade falernum and come hang in the chat room along with the celebrated master of tiki history, Jeff “Beach Bum” Berry!

The prize for this week’s winning drink is a treasure chest of goodies: a 50ct gold Japanese bar spoon, all six—Artistry of Mixing Drinks by Frank Meier, Cocktails: How to Mix Them by Robert Vermeire, Drinks by Jacques Straub, Modern American Drinks by George J. Kappeler, Recipes for Mixed Drinks by Hugo R. Ensslin, World’s Drinks and How to Mix Them by William Boothby—of Greg Boehm’s newly published books, a signed bottle each of Obsello absinthe and Port of Barcelona gin, and a bottle of Old New Orleans Cajun Spice rum.

Be sure to stop by the chat with your original tiki concoction(s) this Thursday, September 3, anytime after 4pm PST. See you there!
