I tried this drink both with Herradura Anejo and Corzo Silver - it was definitely tasty with the Herradura (clearly not a blanco) but the drink took on another life with the Corzo. My wife, not being much into Tequila or Campari (strange for an Italian), wasn't moved by the drink so I added a few Luxardo Marasca cherries to sweeten the deal ;) Not the same but a nice fun way to finish the drink.
