I’m Back. Finally.

Two weeks, two tech support calls and many, many curse words later, I am moved in, halfway unpacked and have returned to the world of the internet-connected. Naturally, though my bar is unpacked, I don’t have a kitchen yet and that makes mixing drinks a bit hard. If you want to know what this move has been like, rent The Money Pit. That should explain everything. I should be back in action next week, though, so I can promise content in short order.
In the meantime, I wanted to post an alert for you local kids about the Absolut Top Bartender Los Angeles competition taking place at The Edison downtown next Monday, September 29. Yes, just four days away! The top bartenders from the Los Angeles showdown will be chosen to compete against the best from New York, Las Vegas, Miami, San Francisco and Chicago for a chance at a $100,000 prize. You made the move! Well, it was bound to be full of adventure and uh, tribulation? Anyway, hope things are sailing smoother for you now. Can’t wait to hear about the new digs.

Life would just be too easy if it all went smoothly, right? I should have a kitchen this weekend and then I’ll be done with this “remodeling” nonsense for a while. I’ll be sure to send you a full report when I get the place in order!
