    As in Samuel?

My first cat was named Molloy!

Both of our current cats have embarrassingly cute names, which I will not repeat in mixed company lest I be made fun of by my male friends. But then, they are both embarrassingly cute…

    Yes, as in Samuel!

What you can’t make out in the background is that she’s posing in front of her namesake, or at least an array of him: the Grove Complete Works, Three Novels, Collected Short Prose, Endgame, Waiting for Godot. And that doesn’t include the books of Beckett criticism. I suppose you could say I’m a fan.

And I doubt your male friends will make fun of you all the way over here…

    4 cats
    Paco, Lola, Purl, Banana

On occasion, I have been known to call Purl my “Little Princess PuPu”.

    I am all man.

    hehe

We generally call our other cat, O’Malley, “Noodle.” Beckett has already earned herself the nickname “Twinkie.” I think you can see where the priorities are in our house.

Awwww. One of our two cats is a tabby/tortoiseshell mix, so I have a soft spot for any stripey-type cat.

So are cats the preferred pet of drink geeks?

Cats are the preferred pet of smart people everywhere. ;)

Wha?!?! Kitten? She’s cuter than cute! Beckett is a great name, I’ve always loved it (and also am a sucker for his work).

I took a picture of Oslo today where in his background were some freshly baked hot crossed buns, so I guess it’s just a good time for appropriate backgrounds in cat portraits!

Yes! Whoops, did I not tell you we adopted a new f(r)iend? I’ve been wanting to name a cat Beckett forever (Crowley was my other choice, but we wanted to keep the Irish theme running).

Awww! That pic of Oslo sounds too cute!
