I'm pretty sure Beachbum Berry covers the Coffee Grog in one of his books, and he'd be the man I'd trust for information on Donn. Alternatively, have you checked with the folks at tikicentral.com? That's always a good place to start when you want more info on tiki.

In the fifties my favorite drink was the flaming coffee Grog at Don The Beachcomber both in Hollywood and in chicago. But I can't find the recipe, a photograph or even reference to the drink. (However, it's well-desribed as a Trader Vic concoction all over the place!) I'm writing about times in the fifties. Can anyone help with details and/or photos?
