As you’ve probably noticed, things look a little different around here, starting with the URL. I’ve owned two domains for a few years now, with hyperkinetic.org hosting my personal blog and mistakepageant.org hosting my various and sundry other projects. Most of those projects have gone the way of the buffalo, so I’ve done some spring cleaning and moved SLOSHED! over here in anticipation of shuttering mistakepageant.org for good.

I’ve also switched from Movable Type, my blogging software since 2001, to the fancy new WordPress platform with all its bells and whistles. I must admit I am thrilled with it though it means changing the format of the blog a bit. You may notice that older entries don’t have photos right now, but I will be going through and fixing those up. The bonus of this change is that entries with pictures now have big, bold photos instead of the wee thumbnails of yore.

Another item of note is comments. I got tired of wading through hundreds (yes, literally) of pieces of comment spam per day, so you’ll have to register to comment. I know it’s a pain, but one that I hope won’t prevent anyone from sticking around long enough to post their thoughts.

Oh, and I highly recommend using Firefox or Safari for browsing the new hotness (if you aren’t already).
